Recycled Nylon Synthetic
Sea Lilium capsule presents a synthetic material made by 60% recycled nylon and 40% polyurethan. It’s RCS certified and does not contains dangerous chemicals like formaldehyde, phthalates, heavy metals, and it does not disperse allergic dyes.
Solvent free polyester microfiber
The inner part of the SS21 bags is made with a water based polyester microfiber produced reducing CO2 emissions by 35% and water use by 70%
The solvent-free synthetic material used for Mati Spring 20 and Fall 20/21 collections is produced reducing CO2 emissions by 35%, water use by 70% and solvents by 99%. All the while preserving performance, respecting animals and the environment.
Natural plant fibers
We source the cellulose used in our SS 20 collection outer woven fabrics from the Dicart group certified by the FSC, Forest Stewardship Council, that manages forest protection and ensures real benefits to local communities living near them.
Our SS 20 and FW 20/21 linings are made of organic cotton and hemp, durable and yet with novel weaving techniques also soft to the touch. Hemp, the plant, is easy to grow organically as it does not require the use of pesticides and herbicides. It’s one of the most efficient plants in converting carbon dioxide into oxygen.
FW 20/21 jacquard shoulder straps are made from recycled polyester.
Dust bags supplied with each bag are made from recycled cotton and water printed.
Our design principles mean that we minimise the use of metals to lower their environmental impact. We use zamak, a metal alloy composed mainly of zinc, aluminum, magnesium and copper.
